Is there enough work to justify training as an ADI? Every day is someone's 17th birthday; seven days a week, fiftytwo weeks a year. One of the most sought after birthday presents is a driving licence and with it the opportunity to enjoy the freedom of the roads.
How can I afford a driving instructor course? We offer different ways to pay for training. you can either pay the full fee, or four monthly payments with 0% interest or pay as you go.
Will I have to take time off work to train? No. Training is flexible and we can train around yuor normal job.
Do I have to share my training with any other trainee instructors? No. All training with the Driving Academy is on a 1 to 1 basis.
How long will it take to train? Once you have passed your Part 1 you have a maximum of 2 years to complete the training. How many hours you put in each week will determine how long it may take.
How much can I earn? If you work a 35 hour week you could earn approx £735 per week before expenses.
Apart from the course fee are there any other costs? Yes. You will have to pay for your:
ADI Licence - £300.
PDI Licence - £140
All your test fees:
Part 1 - £90.
Part 2 & 3 - £111.
Am I tied in if I train with The Driving Academy? No. Once you have passed your part 3 you can choose to stay with us or not.
Would the Driving Academy offer me a franchise package once I have passed? We only offer franchises to meet demand. If there is a franchise available it will be offered to people training with is first.
