I qualified as an ADI in August 2010 and after 6 months I was due a check test to make sure I was giving the correct instruction. I needed some extra help to get me through so I rang Nigel at the Driving Academy, I found him very friendly and helpful. Having Nigel sit in the back of one of my lessons helped and guilded me in the right direction in my instruction methods.

I successfully passed my ADI Part 3. I would like to express my thanks to Nigel for his commitment and support. Nigel is extremely knowledgeable and his style of teaching and his enthusiasm kept me going. I am now looking forward to passing on the skills and knowledge that I have learnt from Nigel. I know that The Driving Academy will always be there to give me any advice and support in the future.

I took up my training with Nigel, an Independent ORDIT registered trainer, back in mid 2010 and I soon felt comfortable and relaxed with his calm disposition, as I was initially concerned with having someone scrutinise my driving after passing my test over 20 years ago.

I knew I had picked up various bad habits, like we all do, but Nigel was experienced enough to home in on these issues and focus on getting me up to the standard to pass my theory and practical exams. I am now looking forward to sitting in the passenger seat and really getting into the technicalities of learning the skills to teach this subject, as that was the main reason for going down this route in the first place.

I have no doubt that Nigel can get me through this last stage and on the road to a new profession as a driving instructor. Thank you for all your time and patience Nigel, just one last stage to get through.

The Driving Academy gave me the technique to succeed. It is all very well having the knowledge and understanding of the topic, but when it comes to the crunch you need the technique to pass on skills to the learner driver. Previous training with another instructor driving school was very disappointing and did not provide one-to-one tuition unlike the Driving Academy. Although I may have been equipped with the subject matter I was unable to present it. However, the Driving Academy whilst continuing to improve my subject matter gave me the necessary skills to present the 'new world' to the learner driver.

Today I succeeded. I used that knowledge and more importantly the technique and passed the ADI Pt 3. Today, my 'new world' can begin as I pass on experiences and encourage safer driving. I owe a big Thank You to the Driving Academy.

I started my ADI training with Nigel at the Driving Academy in February 2010. June 2010 I successfully passed Part 2. Nigel is a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructor and has been extremely supportive. With only knowing Nigel a short while I have been very impressed with his commitment and teaching skills. I am sure with his style of teaching I will successfully pass my Part 3 with him.

The Driving Academy has given me the confidence and motivation to become an ADI. It is a very professional and committed business that recognises the needs of others and endeavours to succeed.

It is a dependable and highly proficient outfit that possesses the qualities to train PDIs. I am now looking forward to the ADI Part 2 and have no reservations about my ability to succeed and progress on to taking the ADI Part 3 in the New Year. The care and encouragement has been very welcoming whilst maintaining the professional standards expected of a driving school. I can now look to the future and the prospect of becoming a team member with the Driving Academy.

I was training with a well known driving school to become a driving Instructor but I felt let down. The training I received from my previous trainer was not done in any order & was very confusing. I wasn't giving the support that I needed to pass my part 3. I was then recommended to join The Driving Academy by another driving Instructor that left my previous trainer for the same reason.

I joined The Driving Academy in April 2009 on a trainee licence & I began my training with Nigel. The training was so different from my previous trainer, the approach was far clearer than I was used to. I soon got my confidence back which I was lacking due to poor training before. Nigel helped me develop my natural skills & with the experience on the trainee licence I had bags of confidence for my part 3 test. Nigel was more than helpful when I needed to run things by him. I felt he went the extra mile for me.

On August 7th 2009 it was a great feeling to become a fully qualified Instructor. I would like to say a big thank you to Nigel & Jayne at The Driving Academy for supporting me when I was on my trainee licence & believing in me. Also for the excellent training & support which they had given me. Nigel's high standard of training has giving me the confidence to continual to teach a high standard of Driving for Life to my pupils.
